Would consider a part-time applicant as well. Duties Review medical histories and record changes. Screen patients for dental problems/concerns and communicate this to the Dr. Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos when necessary. Perform complete periodontal charting and assist in developing personalized treatment plans. Provide thorough, gentle prophylaxis and/or scaling and root planing treatment. Record detailed, accurate progress notes for each patient. Guide patients with proper oral hygiene techniques and at-home instructions. Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments as needed. Take part in proper sterilization processes and operatory disinfection and set up.
