Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team experienced preferred but willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate dental records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and dental health, The Dental Assistant will work closely with dentists and hygienists to deliver high-quality dental services in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorations, extractions, endodontics. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained at all times. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging equipment. Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques. Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care. Assist with administrative tasks including updating medical documentation, coding procedures appropriately, and managing medical records. Skills Proficiency on Dentrix software Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Experience with dental X-ray procedures and digital imaging technology including 3D scanners. Wyoming dental x-ray certification will be provided if needed. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during multiple types of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
