Eureka Family Dental – Dental Hygienist Eureka Family Dental is seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Dental Hygienist. Someone who will work as a team member while providing Exceptional Customer Service and Outstanding Comprehensive Dental Care. Part Time 2- 3 days a week or Full Time 4 days a week. Responsibilities: Professional Care, in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards. Primary Patient Educator- help patients learn the condition of their oral health and what steps they can take to improve it. Motivate the patient towards oral health while performing dental hygiene services and procedures. PROactive vs. Reactive. - Alerting the patient of unhealthy conditions, the solutions the Dr will likely recommend, and the consequences of doing nothing at all. Perform and Document: Dental records - Including, not limited to: x-rays, intraoral photos, new and existing decay, restorations, daily notes and Dr. exam Comprehensive Periodontal Evaluation - Including, not limited to: probe depths, bleeding points, recession, mobility, furcation, etc. Dental hygiene services and procedures - Including, not limited to: dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning Schedule patient for future continuing care appointments TeamWork - Including, not limited to: Aid the dentist (and other team members) with procedures and emergencies as needed, administer anesthetic, sterilization and room turnover. Participate in Morning Huddle by reviewing patient charts prior to meeting Identifying unfinished treatment, difficult pts, health alerts. etc. Requirements: Be a Registered Dental Hygienist possessing a current license in Missouri from accredited school of dental hygiene Have a strong work ethic and team oriented Be reliable, punctual, and professional Have excellent interpersonal skills Provide high quality, comprehensive dental care Administer anesthetic Be able to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
