Family dental office seeking skilled Front Office/Assistant in Pasadena, CA

We are a warm and welcoming family dental practice in Pasadena seeking a Dental Assistant with a strong focus on front office responsibilities to join our small, tight-knit team.

About the Role

This position primarily involves front office duties, but some back office support will also be required. We're looking for someone who is professional, friendly, and enjoys interacting with people. The ideal candidate is radiography certified and ready to help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently.

Front Office Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients with a warm, friendly attitude

• Schedule and confirm appointments

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

• Collect patient payments and manage billing

• Answer phones and respond to emails

• Maintain and update patient records

• Use of Open Dental for practice management

• Use of Weave for communication and insurance verification

Back Office Duties (as needed):

• Take digital x-rays (must be radiography certified)

• Set up and clean operatories

• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Radiography certified (required)

• Friendly and enjoys working with people

• Professional, organized, and detail-oriented

• Experience with Open Dental and Weave is a plus

• Previous dental office experience (front and/or back) preferred

• Team player willing to pitch in wherever needed
