What You’ll Do As an Advanced Dental Therapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering preventive and restorative care while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for. Your daily work will include: Perform oral evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses within the ADT scope of practice. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Providing restorative treatments such as fillings, stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies/pulpectomies, and pediatric extractions (within scope of practice) Performing preventive care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants Educating patients on oral hygiene and guiding them toward better oral health Collaborating with our dentist and team to create comprehensive treatment plans Maintaining detailed clinical notes and patient records Staying current on CE and emerging best practices in dentistry Manage clinic operations, including patient flow, scheduling oversight, and coordination of the dental team.
