Overview Day Family Dental (Dr. Nathan Day - solo practitioner) is looking for a full-time or part- time Dental Hygienist. We are a doctor owned practice that offers a relaxed, smooth workflow environment with no drama and no high-pressure sales. We have 1 hour appointment times, without all the extra add-ons, so you can thoroughly care for your patients at a comfortable pace. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing Conduct medical imaging procedures like X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed. Review and update medical records accurately while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Assist with patient assessment, including reviewing medical history and documenting findings in Dentrix. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control protocols. Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis is highly desirable.
