Schedule: Fridays 8-5 with 1 hour lunch break. Optional Saturdays Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate tools and techniques. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized care instructions. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with clinic protocols. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for young patients. Skills Proficient in dental assisting practices and procedures within a dental office setting. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Ability to conduct thorough documentation reviews for patient records. Experience with systems related to patient management and treatment planning. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages.
