Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with aseptic technique and infection control protocols Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics by providing chairside support and managing dental instruments Take and develop X-ray images, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures are followed Manage patient records using Dentrix, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, vital signs, and treatment details Provide patient education on dental terminology, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices to enhance understanding and compliance Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards and OSHA regulations Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments in compliance with HIPAA regulations Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures and dental assisting techniques Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix; Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic technique Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices safely and effectively Knowledge of dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients preferred Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with patients of all ages while explaining procedures clearly Certification in dental assisting or related field Join us to make a difference through compassionate care!
