We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Position Summary The Dental Hygienist will play a critical role in patient care by providing preventive dental services, patient education, and clinical support to the dentist. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and dedicated to delivering an outstanding patient experience. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance Take and interpret dental radiographs (digital X-rays) Conduct periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Accurately document clinical findings and treatment in the patient record Maintain infection control and sterilization standards in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to ensure seamless patient care Create a comfortable, positive experience for patients of all ages Qualifications & Requirements Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Virginia CPR/BLS certification (current or ability to obtain) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, reliable, and patient-focused demeanor Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred New graduates welcome to apply What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation, based on experience Supportive, team-oriented work environment Modern technology and well-equipped operatories Consistent schedule with no evenings or weekends Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth Paid holidays and benefits package (for full-time positions) How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through Indeed or submit their resume for consideration.
