Job Summary Our orthodontic practice, committed to excellence, is hiring a part time chairside assistant in our Miles City office. This position is 2 days a week/every other week. Wage DOE. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments. Take medical documentation accurately and ensure it is up-to-date in patient records. Operate dental systems and equipment, including 3D scanners and medical imaging tools. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow as needed, including acting as a dental receptionist when required. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality care in a supportive environment. Skills Proficiency in general dentistry practices and familiarity with orthodontic procedures. Experience with medical coding and documentation processes. Knowledge of endodontics is a plus but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Familiarity with dental clinic operations and systems is preferred.
