We recently opened our doors in New Providence, NJ, and we are searching for a compassionate and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team! What We Are Looking Fo r: At least 1 year of dental assisting experience Valid X-ray license Valid CPR certification Excellent bedside manners and communication skills Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in line with HIPPA regulations Knowledge of Itero digital impressions (a plus!) Fluency in Spanish - great communication with our diverse patient community Strong organizational skills to manage appointment schedules and patient flow What You'll Do : Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments by handling instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort Take X-rays as directed, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medical histories, treatment notes, and digital impressions Educate patients on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and ensure timely communication with patients Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, confirming appointments, and processing patient payments and insurance claims Our goal is to provide compassionate, efficient, and high-quality dental care.
