Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control standards are maintained, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care across general and pediatric dentistry services. Experience with EMR systems such Eaglesoft preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where clinical excellence and patient comfort are prioritized. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, and pediatric treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop digital X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Record vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems to Eaglesoft. Maintain infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices. Manage medical documentation, coding, and records with precision to ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure. Sealant Certified Proven experience in general dentistry; pediatric dentistry experience is a plus. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or similar platforms. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including Digital X-ray machines Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and procedures involving pediatrics is desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
