Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and various dental procedures. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, including endodontics and other specialized procedures. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use. Take patient vital signs and record medical histories accurately. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records with attention to detail, including medical coding when necessary. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and aseptic techniques throughout all procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a pediatric setting when required. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential. Able to take rediographs. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of infection control practices is crucial for maintaining a safe environment for patients. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory. Proficiency in using 3D scanners or similar technology will be advantageous.
