General Dental Assistant About Us: At Shumway Dental, we pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, high-quality dental care in a welcoming, professional and team orientated environment. Our practice offers a wide range of general and preventive dental services, and we are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist and hygienist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, sterile environment Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Provide excellent patient care and comfort before, during, and after procedures Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed at all times Qualifications: Some dental experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix Ascend is a plus) Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and highly motivated Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Availability and willingness to travel between Kewaskum and Slinger offices Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays 401k with company match Employee discount Supportive and team-oriented work environment Shumway Dental is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
