Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Front and Back Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate must have experience with Dentrix and iTero systems, along with a strong background in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and advanced dental procedures. Responsibilities INSURANCE VERIFICATION PPO HMO DENTICAL MUST HAVE DENTRIX EXPERIANCE IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE -714-556-7277 Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays, including 3D scans using iTero or similar digital imaging systems. Manage patient records accurately within Dentrix EMR system while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques, vital signs measurement, and medical imaging. Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral health maintenance in both English and Spanish. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing medical documentation efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance claims as needed. Qualifications Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is essential for effective communication. Prior experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry preferred; familiarity with dental terminology is necessary. Knowledge of Dentrix EMR system, Eaglesoft, Epic or similar software is highly desirable. Experience with iTero digital scanner and 3D imaging technology required. Certification or training in X-ray procedures and infection control standards preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, aseptic techniques, and dental assisting best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
