Registered Dental Hygienist - Stony Dental Care - Lancaster, NY

Overview Stony Dental Care, located in Lancaster, is looking for part-time hygiene help. We are a private, one dentist practice. In the spring we will be adding additional hours on Friday as we will be adding a new grad associate from Stony Brook. We are looking to add a hygienist to our team for Thursdays from 7am-3pm. The office is family focused seeing both pediatric and geriatric patients. We currently have 2 full time hygienists and 1 part time hygienist. With the practice expanding, we need additional hygiene help. We look forward to speaking with all applicants. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state licensing boards. Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably with exposure to general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Open Dental. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic environment. Strong communication skills for patient education, documentation review, and collaboration with the dental team.
