Job Summary We are a fast-paced Orthodontic team providing excellent patient care while delivering the ultimate in customer service. Our office is seeking an experienced (1+ years mandatory to be considered) Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontic procedures, patient care, and chairside assisting. This full time role involves the ability to provide outstanding chairside support during orthodontic treatments, exceptional customer service and a teamwork mentality. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in orthodontic assisting, compassion, willingness to learn, strong work ethic and customer service to enhance our patient experience and treatment outcomes. Responsibilities Performing appointments in a timely manner. Providing an exceptional patient experience Keep lab clean, sterilize and make retainers Ensuring accurate documentation of treatment notes for each patient. Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices. Coordinate with the dental reception team for scheduling appointments and managing patient flow efficiently. Being a team player who is approachable with a warm and friendly personality . Proficiency in chairside assisting techniques including bonding, debonding, fitting and removing bands, RPE's, impressions, changing ties, power chains, activating surgical exposures and arch wire sequences. Clear aligners and intra oral scanner Knowledge of Orthodontic Records and Photos Strong understanding of HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Prior experience working with pediatric patients is a plus to ensure comfort and effective communication during treatments.
