Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental issues accurately and develop effective treatment plans Utilize dental imaging techniques such as X-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Administer local anesthesia and perform oral surgeries as needed, including dental extractions and minor surgical procedures Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care Follow infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist Proven experience working in a fast-paced dental office or clinic environment with proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation Strong knowledge of dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and record keeping Expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other general dentistry procedures Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient assessment processes Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal treatments, dental fabrication procedures, and other complex treatments confidently Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that ensures comfort and trust during visits Knowledge of infection control standards aligned with OSHA regulations and HIPAA privacy requirements Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to the head, neck, teeth, gums, and surrounding structures Join us if youâre passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care while advancing your professional skills!
