Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental concerns. Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for young patients. Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation and record keeping. Support dentists during procedures through chairside assisting, maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification. Proven experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings. Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and HIPAA regulations. Ability to perform chairside assisting with expertise in medical imaging, vital signs measurement, and documentation review. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and medical records management. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs.
