Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with dentists to deliver comprehensive dental services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate techniques and tools. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the documentation review of patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance with infection control protocols. Support four-handed dentistry by assisting the dentist during procedures as needed. Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable environment tailored to their needs. Utilize medical imaging techniques as required for diagnostic purposes. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with infection control practices and protocols is essential. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and documentation review is highly valued. Experience working in a dental clinic setting is advantageous. Knowledge of medical imaging technology will be considered a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages.
