Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Danville Endodontics - San Leandro, CA

Overview: Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual with knowledge in dental assisting, medical documentation, and pediatric dentistry to support our practice. We are looking for an experienced RDA OR DA Duties: - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar systems - Provide chair-side assistance to dentists in both pediatric and general dentistry procedures - Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently - Apply knowledge of medical coding for billing purposes Requirements: - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a dental assisting program - Familiarity with pediatric and general dentistry procedures - Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software - Knowledge of medical documentation and anatomy - Ability to perform assisting duties effectively in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about dental care, possess the necessary skills, and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
