Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Long Beach, CA

Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations/treatment - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Update and maintain patient dental records - Provide Pre-Operative/post-operative instructions to patients/Parents - Schedule patient appointments Skills: - Proficiency in Denticon or similar dental practice management systems - Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations - Experience in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Familiarity with Denticon or other dental software programs - Understanding of CAD/CAM technology for digital dentistry - Ability to work with pediatric patients and provide a comforting environment - Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems - Knowledge of taking vital signs and monitoring patient comfort As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Your skills in Denticon, medical records management, dental assisting techniques, and familiarity with CAD/CAM technology will be essential in providing high-quality care to our patients. Additionally, your ability to work with pediatric patients and knowledge of electronic health record systems will contribute to creating a comfortable and efficient environment.
