Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations, ensure patient comfort, and maintain the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Experience with EMR systems such as CURVE is preferred, along with knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Duties Assist Dr. Jammal during various procedures including chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols Take X-rays and 3D scans Record vital signs and update patient medical records accurately Manage patient flow by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling dental receptionist duties Educate patients on procedures, and post-treatment care instructions Maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment adhering to infection control standards Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is essential Familiarity with CURVE is advantageous Experience in implant dentistry is a plus Certification in radiography (X-ray) is required or will be supported for certification if not already obtained Strong understanding of general dentistry procedures including prosthodontics and oral surgery Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining patient comfort and safety This position offers a rewarding environment for those passionate about providing quality dental care.
