Registered Dental Assistant Redford Dental Care Location: Carmichael, CA Schedule: Full Time, M-TH Compensation: $25 to $27 per hour, DOE Benefits: Medical, In-house dental, vision, PTO, Vacation, Sick, and 401k (matching) Job Summary The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) supports the dentist and dental team by providing high-quality patient care, assisting during dental procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment. The RDA plays a key role in ensuring positive patient experiences and smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures (four-handed dentistry) Attend Team Huddles Maintain Sterilization and proper handling of instruments Perform inventory checks, stock supplies, track lab cases Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with regulations Perform Itero scans and other digital image tasks Commit to safety, cleanliness, and infection control Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license/certification (state-specific) CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials Familiarity with dental software, Dentrix Strong attention to detail and infection control standards Skills & Abilities Excellent chairside manner and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Strong organizational and time-management skills Work Environment Clinical dental office setting Prolonged periods of standing and assisting chairside Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
