Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in upholding high-quality patient care and supporting the growth of the dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years of work experience as RDA required. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and billing inquiries. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Manage Dental Inventory and supplies Knowledge of supply ordering Coordinate back office workflow for quality and timely patient care Skills Strong critical thinking skills Ability to manage time and complete daily tasks (self monitored) Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health. Experience with medical imaging and X-ray technology. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medical coding is advantageous. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
