Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient appointments Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques Manage patient records accurately ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security Support the dental reception team by scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and managing medical documentation and records Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment following infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with team members such as dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in chairside assisting Join us to make a difference in patientsâ lives by providing compassionate, efficient, and expert dental care.
