Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dentists during patient procedures, manage clinical tasks efficiently, and ensure a comfortable experience for patients. This role requires proficiency in dental assisting techniques, familiarity with dental software, and a strong understanding of infection control protocols. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of patient care and clinic operations. Responsibilities Assist chairside during dental procedures, ensuring strict sterilization and safety protocols Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools Maintain accurate patient records in line with HIPAA regulations Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout clinical activities Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and dental terminology Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation as a dental receptionist when needed Ensure compliance with all infection control protocols and safety guidelines Experience Dental assistants with 1+ years of experience Familiarity with Dentrix is advantageous Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Proficiency in taking X-rays, operating 3D scanners, and utilizing medical imaging technology is beneficial Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques is essential for success in this role Join our team to contribute to providing exceptional dental care while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
