Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Oxnard, CA
Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform medical documentation and coding using Epic software - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Assist with patient assessment and triage - Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures - Perform CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for dental prosthetics Qualifications: -Bilingual - English & Spanish a must - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program - X-ray certification required - Experience working in a pediatric dental setting preferred - Proficiency in medical documentation and coding using Epic software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
