Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Clinical & Wellness Specialist Location: Bronx, NY – Job Type: [Full-Time / Part-Time] About the Role We are looking for a motivated and patient-centric Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. In our practice, we believe the hygienist is a key driver of patient health and practice success. We aren't just looking for someone to "clean teeth"—we want a partner who excels in Periodontal Therapy and is confident in presenting and delivering advanced treatments like Arestin, irrigation, and sealants. Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Clinical Care: Perform thorough prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal charting with precision. Preventive Treatment Advocacy: Identify and recommend fluoride treatments and sealants for both pediatric and adult patients to ensure long-term enamel protection. Periodontal Excellence: Proactively diagnose and treat periodontal disease through subgingival irrigation and the application of Arestin® (minocycline HCl) microspheres. Patient Education & "Value-Added" Selling: Effectively communicate the "why" behind recommended treatments. You should be comfortable discussing the link between oral and systemic health to help patients commit to their care plans. Imaging: Capture high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photos to support treatment diagnosis. Qualifications & Requirements Licensure: Valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Certification: NYS certification to administer Local Infiltration Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia (highly preferred). Experience: 1 years of experience preferred, but we welcome energetic new graduates with a strong sales and clinical mindset. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Dentrix and digital imaging software.
