Are you looking for a position like this? Brief Job Description: Job Summary: As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will assist dentists during procedures, provide patient care, and manage administrative tasks to enhance the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatments and procedures. Assist with dental examinations, cleanings, and other procedures. Provide post-operative care instructions and education to patients. Clinical Support: Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays). Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar. Handle patient billing and insurance processing. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order when necessary. Patient Interaction: Greet and check in patients as they arrive. Address patient concerns and ensure a comfortable experience. Compliance and Safety: Follow infection control and safety protocols. Ensure the dental office complies with all regulations and standards. Why we're excited about you Experienced in 4 handed dentistry - Patient education on what doctor recommends, traditional Impressions, (digital scanner impressions is a plus), knows how to make and deliver temporary crown. Detail oriented. Radiation and infection control certified. Patient centered assistant that has excellent communication skills. Willing to grow professionally, learn and improve techniques and processes. Previous role as an assistant with experience a must. Personality is friendly and approachable.
