Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and radiographic evaluations using medical imaging techniques. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, root canal therapy (endodontics), and extractions (dental and oral surgery). Utilize advanced dental technology and software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for charting, treatment planning, and medical documentation. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral wellness. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry procedures to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology. Assist in the fabrication of dental prostheses and restorations when necessary. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patientâs needs. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice dentistry without restrictions. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment options clearly. . Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
