Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Periodontist to join our vibrant dental practice in North Hollywood. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional periodontal care, improve patient outcomes, and collaborate with a dedicated team of dental professionals. As a key member of our clinic, you will focus on diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases, performing advanced surgical procedures, and contributing to comprehensive oral health solutions. Your expertise will help elevate our practice’s reputation for excellence and patient satisfaction. Duties Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gum infections, bone loss, and tissue issues using evidence-based methods. Perform complex procedures such as dental implants, gum grafts, pocket reduction surgeries, and other periodontal surgeries with precision and care. Collaborate closely with Prosthodontist, dentists to develop integrated treatment plans that address both periodontal health and overall dental wellness. Utilize advanced dental technology including medical imaging tools to assess oral structures accurately. Maintain thorough medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of procedures, patient assessments, and treatment outcomes. Educate patients on periodontal disease prevention, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Experience Candidates should possess a valid state license to practice dentistry with specialized training or certification in periodontics. Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic or office environment is highly preferred. The ideal applicant will have hands-on experience with: Dentrix dental management software for efficient record-keeping and scheduling. Experience providing patient care with compassion while demonstrating excellent communication skills for patient assessment and education purposes.
