Associate Dentist - Parkway Dental - Hamden, CT

We’re a well-established, privately owned dental practice serving a loyal, multigenerational patient base with a strong reputation for exceptional customer service . We are seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to join our practice following the maternity leave and subsequent relocation of our previous associate of two years. We offer strong clinical and administrative support , along with mentorship from an experienced owner-dentist who is passionate about developing associates both clinically and professionally. Compensation & Benefits Compensation Negotiable daily base 35% of PRODUCTION Benefits 401(k) with 3–4% match $500/yr CE allowance Medical insurance: $350/month toward employee premium (negotiable) Dental coverage: for employee and immediate family (lab fees only) Schedule & Location Workweek 4-day schedule: Monday through Thursday Hours: Mon 9 AM – 2 PM, Tue 8 AM – 5 PM, Wed 10 AM – 7 PM, Thu 8 AM – 5 PM Some schedule flexibility available for the right candidate Location Perks Convenient to New Haven, Hartford, and NYC Suburban setting with easy access to city amenities Practice Highlights Team Culture We offer a stable, drama-free work environment . Our long-standing team includes an office manager of 5+ years and hygienists who’ve worked with the owner for over a decade. Mentorship & Support Dr. Mamta Patel, the owner, has 20+ years of experience and enjoys mentoring associates in clinical care and practice management . Though she practices at another location, she remains closely involved and available. New Grads We are open to new graduates who have completed a GPR . You’ll have the mentorship and structure needed to start your career strong. Technology Digital X-rays Digital scanner Clinical Expectations We do not expect the associate to perform every procedure. Referrals are encouraged when appropriate. However, ideal candidates should be confident in: Basic restorative dentistry Crowns, bridges, removable partials/dentures Select extractions and endodontics Treating children under age 14 (25% of our patient base) Why This Role?
