In this role, youâll be at the heart of the action, assisting our orthodontist in a variety of exciting procedures while ensuring our patients feel comfortable and cared for. You will also be responsible for leading a clinical team and ensuring a smooth schedule and patient experience. Responsibilities Jump right in and assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures, from placing and removing braces to taking impressions and adjusting appliances. Keep our treatment area spick and span by preparing and maintaining it, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and perfectly organized. Documentation, always keeping privacy regulations in mind. Take X-rays, photos, and 3D scans when needed, handling the imaging equipment like a pro. Share your knowledge by educating patients on oral hygiene practices and providing them with post-treatment care instructions. Use dental software systems (Dolphin program) for documentation and scheduling tasks with ease. Be the guardian of our supplies by helping maintain an inventory of dental materials and helping with orders when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant required Strong communication skills are a must, as youâll be building rapport with patients of all ages. Attention to detail and stellar organizational skills are key to keeping our records accurate and up-to-date. Thrive in a fast-paced environment? Perfect! Youâll need to juggle tasks effectively.
