Our website is . *Job Summary* We are seeking a part-time front desk specialist to support our team on Fridays from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The role involves managing front desk operations, patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and supporting the overall efficiency of the practice. HOURS: Fridays, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm *Duties* Welcome and check-in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor Answers the phone New patient registration Schedules appointments & fills the doctors schedules Patient check-in and check-out Collection of patient co-pays Posts completed treatment Submits, processes, and follows up on insurance claims Contacts referring dentistsâ offices to collect necessary information and prior to a patient's appointment Confirms upcoming appointments Insurance verification and eligibility Calculation and creation of Pre-Treatment Estimates Provides support to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist Documents all calls in the patient record. *Requirements* Proficiency in dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Reliable transportation for punctual attendance Excellent verbal communication abilities High school diploma or GED equivalent Successful completion of background check *Preferred Skills (Not Required)* BLS/CPR certification Prior experience in dental or medical administrative roles Familiarity with dental procedures and EMR systems Physical Requirements Ability to operate on a computer and move about inside the office to access file cabinets.
