Seeking exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team full time! We are a well-known, busy, multi-generational practice. Must present with a strong work ethic . Our office handles all procedures including implants/oral surgeries/cosmetic/prosthodontics/ortho. *Part or Full TIme Choose your own days! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-5:00pm or 6:00pm. (Must do one evening until 6:00pm per week. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health/safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you also have a great chairside manner, we’d like to meet you! Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination, sterilize dental instruments properly, conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history, take x-rays, identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, periodontitis, as well as, restorative treatment; periodontal and dental charting, perform prophy/SRP/periodontal maintenance. Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care, the relationship between oral and systemic health, prevention of disease, provide instruction/detail regarding other dental procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation. Requirements and skills: Current state licensure, BLS, and proof of graduation from accredited hygiene program In-depth knowledge/certification of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA, Infection control, Radiography ) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Knowledge of Dentrix software Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job and ability to manage time.
