Utilize dental terminology and aseptic techniques to prepare patients and equipment. Manage patient records and documentation using EMR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Perform X-rays and assist with medical imaging as needed. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality. Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant certification Proficiency in chairside assisting and dental terminology Experience with 3D scanners, pediatric dentistry and orthodontic procedures Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics Familiarity with EMR systems, including Open Dental and Cloud 9 Ortho is benefitial, but not mandatory.
