Boutique pediatric dental start-up looking for a motivated, part-time hygienist to join our team. We are a small pediatric dental office that is dedicated to providing an exceptional dental experience for our patients, and we also love to have fun! The ideal candidate loves working with children, values relationship-based care, and is excited to help shape a growing practice from the ground up. They are also hard-working, organized, and a great team player. Hoping to find the perfect addition to our clinical team! Responsibilities include: * Provide gentle, thorough preventive care for infants, children and adolescents *Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene, nutrition and preventive habits *Build positive, trusting relationships with children and caregivers *Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records *Support behavior guidance techniques tailored to pediatric patients *Collaborate closely with the dentist and team to deliver exceptional care *Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming clinical environment Qualifications: * Active CT Dental Hygiene License *Pediatric experience preferred (but we're open to motivated hygienists eager to learn!) *Warm, patient-centered communication style *Ability to make children feel safe, comfortable and confident *Strong attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards *Enthusiasm for being part of a start-up and growing with the practice Job Type: Part-time Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Work Location: In person
