Dental Receptionist DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets visitors and patients. Answers questions and provides information directly to person or on telephone. Answers telephone calls using proper protocol. Reschedules patients' appointments, notifies patients of any changes in appointments. Assures all communications and transactions with patients and visitors are conducted in a mature, calm, sensitive and respectful manner. Performs additional duties as may be required. Proficient in Dentrix, including patient registration, updating insurance and procedure entry. Verification of and authorization by insurance. Enter, retrieve and document patient information, clinical tasks, communications, and Doctor orders accurately and efficiently.
