About Us: We are a growing pediatric dental practice in Tamarac, FL. Our mission is to give children and their families a warm, fun, and positive dental experience at every visit. About the Position: We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) front desk team member with a cheerful disposition and a passion for delivering exceptional service, who is excited to learn and grow into a pediatric dental assistant. You will begin at the front desk and receive hands-on, personalized training from the pediatric dentist and the general manager to assist chairside. As your skills and responsibilities grow, your compensation will increase. Main Responsibilities: Welcome children and parents with a big smile and positive attitude Check patients in and out, answer phones, confirm appointments Help parents with basic questions about treatment and payments Learn to assist the doctor chairside (we will train you) Help prepare and disinfect rooms and instruments Keep the front desk and reception area organized and clean What Weâre Looking For: Bilingual English/Spanish â required Very friendly, patient, and positive; enjoys working with children and families Customer service experience is a big plus Strong willingness to learn dentistry and become a dental assistant Responsible, punctual, and able to follow instructions Able to provide 2â3 professional references We are looking for someone who: Wants long-term growth, not just a job Takes pride in learning new skills Enjoys helping children and families Is enthusiastic, dependable, and coachable As you develop chairside skills, confidence, and clinical knowledge, your responsibilities and compensation will grow accordingly. Schedule, Pay & Benefits: Paid Working Interview (1 day at $11/hour): Selected candidates will participate in a one-day paid working interview. This allows both the candidate and our team to confirm a good fit with our practiceâs core values, work ethic, communication style, and patient-centered approach, while observing real front-desk responsibilities in a pediatric dental setting Part-time position in Tamarac (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) â approx. 25.5 hours/week Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:30 AM â 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch) Saturdays: 10:00 AM â 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch) On-the-job training provided by the Pediatric Dentist and General Manager Competitive salary, bonus system, and vacation Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 23 â 26 per week Work Location: In person
