Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Hurst, TX

You own the back-of-house systems, keep the schedule on track, and make sure every provider has what they need before they need it. What You Get Competitive pay Growth: clear path into multi-office leadership, trainer, or regional clinical support as we expand Support: centralized HR, supply/vendor support, and playbooks so youâre not reinventing the wheel in each office Training: structured onboarding and ongoing CE for clinical and leadership skills What Youâll Do Clinical Excellence Provide 4-handed (and when needed 6-handed) chairside assisting for all procedures within your scope Anticipate doctor and hygienist needs to keep appointments on time Prepare and turn over operatories, adhering to strict infection control and OSHA protocols Take radiographs and intraoral images as allowed by your state license Help educate patients on procedures and post-op instructions Leadership & Coordination Lead, train, and mentor other dental assistants in the practice Run or contribute to daily huddles to align the clinical team on the schedule and priorities Coordinate room and provider flow to reduce bottlenecks and downtime Give regular feedback to the doctor and office leadership on process improvements Systems & Inventory Maintain operatory and sterilization room organization according to Smile Society standards Oversee sterilization processes and documentation Track and manage clinical inventory, place supply orders within budget, and prevent stock-outs Help implement and maintain clinical protocols and checklists across the team What You Bring Active dental assistant license/registration in TX and current BLS/CPR [2â3+ years] chairside assisting experience; prior lead/senior assistant experience strongly preferred Solid knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, infection control, and sterilization Experience with [Curve/Archy/Open Dental] or similar software (or willing to learn quickly) Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills; calm under pressure and team-first Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $25.09 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
