We have a well-established & growing dental team looking to add a dental assistant with a current OK dental assistant license & x-ray certification; Additional functions such as N2O, Polishing, Sealants, and/or Fluoride certifications are highly desired. Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am- 5:00 pm Our office offers Health Insurance, Vision coverage, Dental, Paid Holidays, PTO, Aflac, Bonuses, and much more! Pay is dependent on experience/certifications. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform patient assessments and record medical history - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software - Perform dental receptionist duties as needed Qualifications: - Certified Dental Assistant (CAD) preferred - Experience in a dental office setting - Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and operating dental equipment - Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials - Familiarity with dental terminology and medical coding - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Understanding of oral anatomy and dental procedures, especially in pediatrics Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
