We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Your role is vitally important in the health and well-being of our patients. Summary: Completes treatment of patient’s oral and periodontal care including patient education by performing the following duties. Essential Tasks: Perform Cleanings of teeth and gums. Take necessary x-rays and intra-oral pictures. Complete periodontal charting. Address patient's hygiene and restorative needs. Educate patient on what doctor will likely recommend in the form of treatment. Document findings in the Practice Management software. Clean/sterilize treatment room after each appointment. Reappoint patients emphasizing value and urgency for the next appointment and update the Practice Management Software. Provide an effective 2 and 1 Handoff, to doctor and appropriate admin team. Prepare, attend, and contribute to Straine Management System (SMS) Meetings. Achieve individual daily hygiene production goal. Maintains proper knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliances and clinical skills. As open times occur, make calls to patients due and not scheduled in hygiene. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Registered Dental Hygienist License Experience in a dental office preferred B.S.
