Registered Dental Hygienist - Termotto & Davis Dental Practice, LLC - Pooler, GA

Summary: Davis and Wine Dental Practice, LLC is a privately owned specialty practice with 3 Prosthodontists and 1 Periodontist. Currently we have three different locations, one in Pooler, and 2 in the Bluffton area. We are growing so, currently we are looking for a for 2-4 days per week. The perfect candidates will be able to complete all preventive care appointments and chart conditions as prescribed by Dentist. Pay is $45-$50 per hour. Currently our hygiene hours are 7-3 or 8-4, your choice. We also offer bi-weekly bonus pay. Currently this position is split between the offices. Responsibilities : * Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis. * Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols. * Maintain instruments by sharpening and sterilizing. * Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening. * Collect medical and dental histories from patients. * Chart dental conditions in Dentrix Ascend based on dentist’s observations and evaluations. * Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care. * Take X-rays with Dentrix Ascend. Qualifications: Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor’s preferred) Current state license required 3+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist Production goal is a requirement.
