Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing dental terminology and medical terminology accurately. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, extractions ,crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy. Conduct oral surgeries including dental extractions and manage post-operative care with aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Utilize dental imaging tools to diagnose issues related to anatomy knowledge and develop effective treatment plans. Collaborate with patients to educate them on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to pediatric dentistry needs when applicable. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure the highest standards of infection control and sterilization procedures within the dental office environment. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist with current certification. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, ACE, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar practice management systems. Demonstrated ability in pediatric dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures like extractions. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging procedures. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly.
