Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Woodstock, IL

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist ( sign on bonus ) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Perform vital signs checks and document findings accurately in the patient's medical records. Utilize Eagle soft systems for documentation review and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in four-handed dentistry techniques during procedures, providing chairside support to the dentist. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and improve overall patient experience. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including medical imaging techniques. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a must Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is desirable. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and dental terminology. Experience with medical coding is a plus. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and provide compassionate care.
