Busy general dental office in Brookfield is looking for a friendly and motivated dental assistant to join our great team. Paperless office, great patient base and opportunity to learn different aspects of dentistry. Experience preferred, but weâd consider training a terrific team player with a great attitude and certification. Responsibilities -Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history -Assist dentist by handling material and instruments as requested -Prepare trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies -Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed -Take high quality dental radiographs -Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials -Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist Take alginate impressions and pour models Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Dental assistant certification or experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Possess a professional and positive attitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off License/Certification: Coronal Polish Certificate (Preferred) Work Location: In person
