Dental Assistant - Affordable Dentures & Implants - Champaign, IL

Duties - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Prepare materials for impressions - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during surgery - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories in Dentrix or other dental software Qualifications - Excellent communication skills with patient and co-workers - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Ability to take accurate vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
