Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Dental Assistant to join our new dental office. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient communication will contribute to delivering patient based dental services. Responsibilities Assist our dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, Implant surgery, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and sterilized equipment following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Take and develop X-ray images, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage electronic medical records using Dentrix Ascend, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging as needed for comprehensive patient care Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards and anatomy knowledge for safe practice Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with proficiency in chairside assisting across multiple specialties including dentistal surgery and implant dentistry. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding practices Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend for managing medical records and documentation Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while following radiation safety guidelines Experience with 3D scanners and other advanced dental imaging technologies preferred Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures in a dental clinic setting Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics Basic understanding of anatomy related to oral structures and medical imaging techniques Join me to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier dental care.
