Location: 9270 Wicker Ave., St. John, IN Position: Dental Hygienist (Part-Time with potential to transition to Full-Time) Are you a compassionate and energetic Dental Hygienist who enjoys caring for patients of all ages ? South Shore Smiles is a growing Pediatric and Family Dentistry practice looking for a hygienist who loves building relationships with children, parents, and families while delivering excellent preventive care. Our goal is to create a positive, comfortable dental experienceâfrom a childâs first visit to ongoing care for adults. What We Offer: Flexible Hours: Office hours are MondayâThursday, with shifts from 8:30 AMâ5:30 PM (MonâWed) and 7:30 AMâ3:30 PM (Thurs). Responsibilities: Provide gentle, high-quality dental hygiene care for pediatric and adult patients , including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and periodontal maintenance Take and develop dental X-rays as needed Educate children, parents, and adult patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care Create a positive and calming experience for pediatric patients Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and clinical notes Follow infection control and sterilization protocols Collaborate closely with the dentist and team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient visit Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Indiana Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program Comfortable working with both children and adults Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Experience with dental software is a plus, but not required If you enjoy working with families and helping patients of all ages feel confident about their smiles, weâd love to hear from you!
